Only 34 members attended this showing which was a shame as it was very well received with a rating of 8.2 /10 (IMDb 8.4). Nearly half the attendees considered it as excellent.

- Wasnt sure about B&W film but really good. What’s changed in all these decades? Few making it to stardom, women discarded after a certain age & dreams never fulfilled by the many.

We had scheduled a discussion session after this film but didn’t really get any takers. Maybe members would prefer to discuss films online.
The committee is wondering whether to proceed with the discussion session scheduled for the spring.
